Abstract

As part of an ongoing research project based on a comparative study of different historical modalities of documentary theatre developed in Argentina over the past decades, the following article focuses on the experience of Archivo White, a documentary project carried out at the peculiar Museo-Taller Ferrowhite (Ing. White, Bahía Blanca, Argentina) which brought to stage several members of the community following the model of Vivi Tellas’ Biodrama project. The analysis of the four plays originated within the framework of Archivo White –Marto concejal (2007), Archivo Caballero (2008), Con tormenta se duerme mejor (2009) and Flying Fish. La vuelta al mundo con Roberto Orzali (2010)– aims to make a contribution to the historization of this experience and to serve as base for some reflections on the main subjects addressed by this dossier on Politicity, memory and stage and documentary experimentation in Argentinian theatre and performance from the 60s to the present.
