The macro-environmental impact on the organizational structure of the university libraries
Abstract
The main aim of this paper is to start reflection around critical aspects for the effective management of university libraries from the organizational point of view. The discussion is based on the tripod that serves as the organizational foundation, that is, people, structure, and technology. It presents factors that determine and/or influence the organizational structure of the university library, emphasizing the role that it plays in its efficient management.Downloads
