Argentine community theatre: a look from the components of the collective subjectivity. The case of the Sansinena Popular Theatre Group

Abstract
In this paper, we analyze the particular dynamics of the Argentine community theatre. As a theoretical approach, we take into account the perspective of collective subjectivity in the social movements that provides the tools to analyze the identity, the collective will, the political action, the construction of demand, the imaginaries and the community project as a future horizon. Due to the diversity of the characteristics of this cultural practice, we will only take the case of Sansinena Popular Theatre Group, a rural town from the interior of the Province of Buenos Aires, whose particularity is that, of the 350 inhabitants of the town, around seventy people are part of the theatre group.Downloads
