Gender, eroticism and violence: backlash and intolerance in Brazil today

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to apprehend the articulations between gender, sexuality, eroticism and violence, starting both from a brief balance of the studies carried out in Brazil, such as the recent increase in violence against people, due to intolerance and hatred.
